Denver's First Urban Fruit Orchard

Revision International Plants 40 Fruit Trees at Kepner Middle School

DENVER – Revision International is pleased to announce the planting of Denver's first urban community orchard on Thursday, July 1st at Kepner Middle School. The school will receive 40 fruit trees – including apple, plum, cherry, peach, pear, and apricot, which will be planted in the school's Jardin de Esperanza (Garden of Hope).

Revision International, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to "empowering local actions that lead to global sustainability," partnered with Stretch Island Fruit Co., makers of all-natural Fruit Strips and FruitaBü® Fruit Rolls and The Fruit Tree Planting Foundation (FTPF), an international nonprofit organization dedicated to planting edible fruit trees and plants, to bring the "Fruit Tree 101" program to Denver.
